Melanie Godown has been involved
in dog showing since the age of 10.
She has presented and pointed
a variety of breeds including:
Pekingese, Pembroke Welsh Corgi,
Bernese Mountain Dog, Golden Retriever,
Labrador Retriever, and Whippet.
She has also trained in obedience
and competed in Junior Showmanship.
Melanie is an active puppy raiser
for Upstate Guide Dog Association.
and is currently raising her fifth
potential guide dog.


She has been a tireless volunteer
at Kanadasaga events for several years.

She has assisted several club members with grooming, handling, presentation, and breeding.
Melanie has been involved in a variety of musical productions in her church and school.
